R&D

Research and development (or R&D for short) is defined by the OECD as "creative work carried out systematically with the aim of increasing the body of knowledge and the use of this knowledge to create new applications".

Research and development has three parts:

basic research
Applied research
Experimental development.

It covers activities that focus on technological uncertainty and whose outputs have original, experimental, scientific and technical content.

Research & Development; It is a key element of growth and development through innovation for both a company and a country. Organizations performing R&D aim to increase their productivity and production quality or to create new products and services.
